To commemorate its 30th Anniversary, I was commissioned by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to create a series of paintings that symbolizes its six schools of performing disciplines – Dance, Chinese Opera, Music, Drama, Film and TV, and Theatre and Entertainment. The Chinese Opera School painting was later also used as the Academy’s visual identity and its 30th Anniversary Corporate Gifts logo. This series of paintings was displayed in the HKAPA entrance lobby and in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Amphitheatre for 2 years.
