CONSTELUNA

UIUX  •  Branding  •  Illustrator  •  Photoshop

Two directions created for the initial stages of a rebranding project for the Sheraton Hotel in Huzhou, China.  As the name for the hotel was already set as Consteluna, and the hotel is best known for its unique moon shape structure, the directions were created based off of these two established factors.

First Direction:

The first branding direction was inspired by the reflection of the hotel lights on its surrounding water. I was inspired by the translucency, colour, and movement of the water. As the lights of the hotel would change colour throughout the night, it created unique dispersions of light on the water surface, and the colours reminded me of a holographic surface where colours are ever changing according to the  surrounding environment.

Second Direction:

For the second direction, Since the name given to this hotel is Consteuna, a name that was inspired by the moon, its mysterious beauty is something I revolved around. For this direction, I had a more minimalistic approach and subtler colour palette to allude to the moon.
